I love to rest on Sunday. Often on Saturdays we are getting chores done around the house but on Sunday we enjoy resting up for the coming week. What do you do to relax after a busy week?

For the two of us we love to sleep in. Most often I'm in the recliner by 5-6:00AM because I stiffen up and hurt too much in the bed. But I don't want to HAVE to get up. smilewinkgrin We love to go picture taking and turn it into a picnic...sort of a 'date' thing. That doesn't happen often and more likely we stay at home. If so then I like to tinker with small projects of my choosing...most often it's some type of sewing. In the colder times of the year I love to put a pot of soup or stew on the wood stove and that makes such an easy supper. Just spending time with my hubby is relaxing to me.

How do you spend a relaxing Sunday?

Usually, I'm working 7 days a week, but when I do have off, I pick out a project that needs done, so that I have some sense of accomplishment at the end of the day.

I must confess, that I pull a Chutzy smilewinkgrin and sleep in pretty late, but then get busy on the project for the day.

A must!.... is a meal, prepared on the Biggreenegg (a Ceramic Grill combination smoker) This can take all day, depending on the cut of meat. (Ribs, Pulled Pork, Brisket & ect)

And always!....we have a good friend or the end of the day to enjoy each others company. wink

I'm getting to the point where I can't even read these threads... because usually food is mentioned... and then I start craving whatever is mentioned yeah I swear, I had to get BBQ a few days ago because someone mentioned it here... Ahhhh. I guess the sight of a big ole' pregnant woman eating barbeque is not the greatest visual.

ANYWAY... relaxing Sunday routine:

"Normal": Sleep in as late as possible; go to church until noon; have a good family lunch together; rest and just hang out at home most Sunday afternoons and evenings... as most
"chore" stuff gets done on Saturdays.

"Bad Health/Pain Sunday or Pregnant/Bedrest": Since I don't sleep well at night - sleep in the morning until about noon... finally drag myself to shower early afternoon... back to bed... watch TV/computer/hang out w/ kiddos.. and then insomniac at night.
