And if you remember that song you're showing your age along with me. tongue smilewinkgrin

Where do you do your best thinking? I know, who has any "best thinking" any more. wink What I'm trying to ask is, where do you solve problems, think about things in your life or just enjoy thoughts of your day? For me this place is in the shower. No, I don't sing but for some strange reason I solve more problems in the shower than the rest of my days combined. I have no idea why, I don't concentrate on coming up with great solutions to problems but most times I shower I have solved one, or more, small issues that I need to work on. This morning it was a plan for dealing with a teenage grandson who needs some "motivation" from his Grandma and Grandpa! rolleyes I came up with a plan on how to best approach him with some problems he's brought on himself and hubby and I are going to tackle it tomorrow night.

Where do you do your best thinking or planning?

When I need to do some serious thinking I like to take a drive in the country.

This is also my preferred MO for when I need to have a long serious talk with the kids. I take them for a drive so they are something of a captive audience.

I solve my problems when I crochet, cook, or bake. I think there is something about working through the issue and creating something great and useful helps sort things into what they need to be.

I have severe Tinnitus. about 4 to 5 different high pitched tones, all day, every day.. So, I sit next to the dryer and washer to read and think.

Dani- that would drive me batty! My goodness girl! I saw a commercial for a device for people with tinnitus. Can't think of it now. Maybe you can google it?

My best thinking moments are right at that precious threshold before I fall asleep. I could invent wonderous things or write The Great American Novel, the powerful way my mind works at that time. Too bad it's only at THAT time that it works that way! haha Certainly can't seem to get it to work any other time. The neurons must be too busy cross-wired with PAIN! urgh.
