A couple of years ago on a Knee site, I saw this posted, and decided to take a look.  There are so many points in here that I wish all PM drs. could read. Take a chance, google it and read through this handbook. Many of you will be surprised at just how much more your dr could be doing for you to make your life more promising and satisfying.  Searth  :   THE INTRACTABLE PAIN PATIENT'S HANDBOOK FOR SURVIVAL   by Forest Tennatn, MD, DrPH    Copyright 2007   Published by Pain Treatment Topics
There is a notation on the handbook that is "may be copied and distributed to patients or healthcare providers without prior permission
I gave a copy to my physcian (GP).  He did mention that he had begun to read it, and found it interesting, but due to his heavy patient load, I wonder if he will ever finish as he said he "lost it among his papers on his desk."  I may give it to him again soon.
I hope many of you will read this, as there is alot of info that you may not have thought about before.

Has anyone had a chance to read this, or part of it, or perhaps read it before?  IF so, is anybody being treated this completely by their pm drs. I know I am not, just getting a script for the meds once a month is all I can manage. Thanks

You are welcome, I found it full of info, also. It is too bad that there are not a million like him out there, so much better it would be for all of us.
