Today we decided to get away from the subject of pain, and try a little bit of a brain tease! So put on your thinking caps and let your imagination run wild! smilewinkgrin

Todays Question: "If you could crossbreed any two animals, what would they be, and give it a name!"

...for examply in the childrens book "Dr Doolittle" The pushmi-pullyu (pronounced "push-meā€”pull-you") is a "gazelle-unicorn cross"

      Enjoy!

Ahhh, Michael - great question... and although I'm a very "crafty" person - I'm not very creative on these games.

I did google and found some funny ones....and I think the majority of these are "real", lol:

a zorse

a zonkey

a cama (camel and llama)

grolar or prizzley (polar bear/grizzly bear)

Anyway, maybe others will have more - I'm just feeling really low on the creativity factor right now, lol.  But I'll be thinkin'....

I would crossbreed an Elephant and a Camel. Both of them are often used a beast of burden and they are amazing animals.

My crossbreed would be called : "TrunkenHump" tongue

I remember as a kid in 3rd or 4th grade I lived in Madison Wisconsin, and they had a Zoo there called Vilas Park zoo, we uses to go there allot, and it was back in the early 60 they had a zebra and a donkey together in the same pen, and I remember seeing them fighting and kicking each other. Well later on it was on TV that the two had mated and they had as momto8kids has already mentioned, a "Zonkey" it was part Zebra and part Donkey, they even had it on TV, unfortunately a week or so later it had died. I think they have been successful at breeding them again and have had more Zonkeys at least that is what I had heard, but I don't know that for fact as we move away from there down to Illinois.

Oh yes I would cross a dog and a cat and call it a "Do-At" that way you would have a pet that would play fetch like a dog, and prrrrr like a cat instead of barking, and you wouldn't have to take it out to do its business like you do a dog because it would use a litter box like a cat.

WB,

I'm kinda w/ you on that animal, lol.... the best of all worlds, lol :)

Listen, I want to tell you that you've crossed my mind on several occasions and I really, really miss you - and want to get caught up.  My life is in that season that we left off before at.... crazy, and more crazy.  The girls are almost 2 - and wow - they are little firecrackers.  They were both in bed.... it's 11:17pm here.... and one is now up running CIRCLES through the kitchen, TV room, front room, office and back to the kitchen.  She's done this 6 times!

Anyway, please know I think of you and wonder how you are.... and please give me grace for the times that I'm not able to check in so regularly... because I REALLY do care.

Wolverine and bat. If I could throw in a 3rd, it would be a chameleon.
It would have no name.
