So, I tend to dream ALOT. And the more I hurt the more vivid the dreams are. And the more I hurt, the more I tend to dream about
things happening causing my pain.
So Friday night, I guess I scared the crap out of my husband, he normally sleeps so soundly that you'd have to take a drum to his head for him to notice anything... but I guess I was having yet another nightmare, similar to so many, where I'm falling off a cliff, onto my lower back. From what he says my hand was next to his side, and I guess I was grasping not to fall, and almost yelling to catch me, to keep from falling, and i didn't want to hit the rocks. And I clawed his side (my nails are not long but longish). And he had trouble getting me to wake up. I guess all I would tell him is that the rocks really hurt, and I didn't want to hit them again.
1) Does anyone else deal with this? At this time my pain medication is only scratching the surface of my pain, as the pain gets worse so do the dreams.
2) Does anyone know any way to get rid of the dreams? Or are they just part of the pain?
