Ok I wont bore you all with lengthy details I will give quick version. Hysterectomy in January and in April my mouth started to burn . This had happened 3 years prior when I was a given a shot that would last approx 3 months , this shot made me menopausal temporarily and the same thing happened. I have now been told I have BMS my question to all who has this is I want to know what works to help it not what I read on other websites I want to know what has actually worked for others. I have had it almost every day for 4 months now and it is wearing very thin with me as there are even times where I just think I cannot go on ! To people who dont know what it feels like I will give a description ! It feels like you scalded your mouth but it doesn't go away and sometimes your lips also burn. It really sucks and any and all help would be greatly appreciated ! I would also be willing to chat with others via email or what ever to help each other thru this sucky time . Thanks much

My mother-in-law has experienced BMS for three years now.  She is having a hard time dealing with it.  She would like to talk with someone experiencing the same symptoms, but she hasn't found anyone yet.  She doesn't have a computer, so the only way she could speak with you is by phone.  I myself have never talked with anyone via internet as I don't trust it.  But I found you when I was searching the internet for BMS treatment.  She would like some psychological support because she feels like she is going to lose her mind.  I am very concerned for her.  I hope we can get you two talking.

Ok concerned 2
leave your email and I will email you with my phone number ok ???
As for razzle 51
The only med I was on at the time was prevacid at the time . Although I had been on hormones for a little while. But this had happened years ago to when I recieved a shot to make me menopausal for 3 mos. No I didn't have any dental work done , so I cannot even blame it on that. I am just looking for what has worked for other people in the past. I want to make this managable and right now it isnt manageable at all!!!!

Hello there,

I have been suffering Burning Mouth Syndrome for the past 3 months now. Nothing tastes good to me. I had lost weight because I was unable eat anything. I came across http://burningmouthsyndrome.boomja.com/ which gave a descriptive knowledge about BMS. It contains excellent information on any and every topic you can think of regarding BMS.
