I am curious if any of you have taken solu-cortef or benadryl while pregnant as a pre-med for Remicade? I have been diagnosed with CD for 2 years but suffering for 10+ years. I had my daughter in 05 and during the pregnancy had my first really bad flare. I was in and out of the hospital for a total of 30 days during the last 6 months. My daughter was born without any problems and is a healthy, rambuncious 2 year old. I had my first bowel resection in July 07 and I am feeling wonderful. I am back on remicade as a "maintenance" med and have been cleared by my GI to try for another baby. Since I was on then off remicade before the surgery and am now back on it, I have to pre-medicate with benadryl, tylenol and solu-cortef along with treatment. I can't find too much info about these 2 meds and the effects on pregnancy. Just curious what others have gone through...thanks in advance.
