Inflammation and ibuprofen

I apologize if this has already been answered in another post, as well as I have had a few questions about ibuprofen lately. 
Anyhow can ibuprofen cause inflammation in several parts of the digestive tract?  The reason I ask is because my GI found many spots with inflammation but the biopsies did not point to either Crohn's or UC.
Any thoughts anyone?

I do know that ibuprophen can cause flare-ups of crohn's in some folks. I personally was on it for over a year for low back pain, not realizing it wasn't good for me. Then I flared, and it probably was a combination of things including diet and stress.
Diagnosed at age 19 with CD.
3 small bowel resections, 1 for perforation, 2 for strictures
