Just thought I'd post a little good news. I have been feeling pretty great since right after Christmas. The Humira has cut my bm down from a dozen a day to about 2 or 3, which is amazing, that coupled with the 6mg. Entocort to control inflammation. The combination is working wonderfully and I feel more human than I have in a long time. Everyone cross your fingers that this streak of good health continues!
I have a colonoscopy & endoscopy scheduled for next week, I am hoping the results are positive. Wish me luck with that.
To everyone who has been so ill lately and feeling miserable please know that you can feel better once you and your GI find the treatment that works for your body. Keep up the faith, it will get better and you will feel human again, don't give up hope!

Is anyone else here having positive results from the treatments plan they are on for their CD? I would love to hear some positive feedback!

Congrats! And also good luck with the scopes. I was hoping to be off pred/entocort now, since starting humira in Oct., but then I developed this RUQ pain and am having tests for a dilated common bile duct. So since I don't want to mess with meds right now, I still have the extra weight and the puffy face. I do have a sl. reduction in the amt. of D.

Congratulations!!! I understand how you are feeling right now.I think you read some of my recent post... I had my scope yesterday, and my colon is clear except my stricture, but that was able to be widened out, because my inflammation is GONE with the help of Imuran and Humira, and I did not have to go on Prednisone this time because the Humira was so effective, and that was with only 3mth treatment!!

WOOHOO!!!

Yea to all of us that are finally getting some relief from CD!!!! I know that everyone responds differently to treatments and Rx's and I pray every day that my friends on this forum will find a treatment that makes them feel good again. Thanks everyone~

ddr,
Sounds like our GI's must consult with each other...haha. I'm glad to hear that you are having good results with the Humira/Entocort cocktail too...haha. Now just get rid of that asacol...haha. Take care everyone!
