thank you so much for answering my question. My last G.I which by the way was someone I worked for just started me out on pentasa and iron pills(my level was at 6). Nothing much was changing, so after two years and my blood level just reaching 8,I decided I was tired of being so anemic all the time to switch doctors, which is why I went to Ullman. i travel 2 and a half hours to get to the city, I'm in P.A...but I think its going to be well worth it.Still taking the pentasa and now chromagen a different iron pill but also started entocort and will see him again in march.Being on this site and speaking to him I also learned alot more about this disease and what is going on in my body. Thank you again for taking the time for me....

I  also think Dr. Ullman is worth the trip (3 hrs. for me). I have been to 5 Gastros here and none of them knew what they were talking about. wish I was as smart as you and took the steps to see a real Crohn's expert much earlier......

36 year old female. Dx'd and undx'd a few times. Was just redx'd again 04/2007.
History of rectal abscesses and fistulas (28 surgeries including abscess I & D, exploratory surgeries, 2 C-ton drains and 1 fistula plug) Count does not include self bursting abscesses.
1st Remicade infusion 6/5/07.  Lots of joint pain, and a new fistula since the 2nd infusion 6/19.
Praying I'll get better soon so we can have a baby.
