Has anybody done the Pico-Salax prep and not run clear?  I've been on a 2 day liquid diet and did the prep as perscribed, once yesterday at noon and once at 8:00 and I'm still not running clear and worried my colonoscopy will be cancelled.  Can they still do it if you're pretty much clear?
Take care, Softy

Hi there.  I did the Pico-Salax prep and had a non-clear bowel movement at night just before bed.  I was not completely clear the morning of the procedure either, but they were still able to do it.  Make sure you tell the nurse when you get to the hospital, and they might just do a quick enema to clear out any remnants.

Good luck!

Hello. I had the Pico Salax. Unfortunately due to the strictures I had, it didn't even run through for about 6 hours later....but even the next morning it never ran clear! I find it the easiest prep. Hate the other ones, they taste aweful, at least this one tastes like orange pop!!!!!
