Hi there, CONGRATULATIONS to the new expectant grandmother. My daughter just had her baby girl on Dec. 5th....and I just can't get over how in love I am with this precious little being. I could(do ) spend hours just looking at her. It's bringing back so many memories of when my two girls were babies. Oh do enjoy this pregnancy with your daughter. It cost me a fortune too, but it was soooo much fun. She and I made it a point to meet everyday for tea or coffee. It sure brought us closer although we already were.
Now when I'm having a difficult day with this dreaded disease I close my eyes and picture miss Katalina and her charms...the funny faces she makes, and the cooing little noises she utters, the feeling of her on my shoulder sound asleep...the smell of her. She is my happy hopeful thought. Her beautiful little face helps me get to sleep at night.
I am so thrilled for you. Keep us posted won't you.
Love and prayers to both of you...oops 3 of you and your family also.

Congratulations! That is so exciting! I've got a good 30 years 'til I become a grandma, but playing auntie isn't so bad for now...I've got one more nephew coming next week! Named Jonah! Yay for babies!
