I was exposed over the weekend  and I am on Humira and have just finished a course of antibiotics for bronchitis.  should I be concerned?

My doc did tell me that with the immunosuppressants you are at higher risk for shingles. I don't know what you do about having an exposure. Maybe call the doc and ask

I am about to start Humira, and my doctor said that if I suspect I have any sort of infection or I'm exposed to anything I'm worried about, I'm supposed to call her right away. I think its good advice, so give your GI a call. Even if your doc says its okay, it will make you feel better.

Good luck to you!!

I agree with the others, call you physician.  I do not know what you can do about the exposure.
FYI Chickenpox is caught like flu: virus floats in the air, from the breath of an infected person.
When it returns it is called shingles. No one can catch shingles, but if you have not had chickenpox and you have skin contact with shingles, you can catch chickenpox.

Take care and gentle hugs.
