I have an intermittent nagging pain on my upper left side along my ribs.. I think that my stomach is inflamed. I also have some back pain which makes me suspect inflammation. It's not oeverly painful just occasional discomfrot.. Should I call my doctor about this?

My rule of thumb is - if you decided you needed to ask the question here about calling your doctor, then you need to. Sorry to be blunt. A nagging pain that causes you enough concern to write about it, deserves to be investigated. Let us know what they say, ok?
