I know this is a random question, but I just thought I would throw it out there because people ask me this all the time. It cracks me up when people find out that I have Crohn's (if they know what it is....which is rare) and the first thing they ask is oh man what can you eat?
If I could eat anything without getting sick....I think I would scarf down some glorious popcorn (not the bag kind) and top it off with garlic salt. That sounds so good, yet so forbidden. I would also love a giant glass of Orange Juice. I think if I was able to eat anything for a day I would probably gain 10 pounds from all the food I would consume...and I'm ok with that!
Diagnosed: 2003, age 18 (had issues with it since I was 12)
Meds for crohns: Prednisone, Oxycodone, Oxycontin, Remicade,
6-mp.
Other medical issues: Hereditary Spherocytosis (hemolytic anemia) iron deficient anemia, polyarthralgia, ovarian cysts, Migraines
Surgeries: Spleen, Gallbladder, Tonsils, Adenoids, foot of terminal Ileum, Appendix, Ileocecal valve, bit of colon

Haha I love all of your replies. Apparently we all want greasy food, popcorn, pasta, chocolate, and pretty much just what everyone else gets to enjoy whenever the heck they want. Even though I cant eat soooo many foods I still look like I haven't missed a meal for a long time...darn prednisone. What is the deal with that!?

I do fine with any foods, but I choose to give up junk-foods, processed foods/beverages ect.

However I've always struggled with egg nog, even with my lactose intolerance issues under full control, I take 2-3 lactaid pills to have a little bit of egg nog and it usually goes right through me...it makes me sad but luckily I was able to find egg nog flavored lip balm so it's better than nothing....it's not fattening either LOL!

:)
My bum is broken....there's a big crack down the middle of it!  LOL  :)
