Well, my WBC count came down a little (now I have been off Prednisone for a while - the doctor said that isn't causing it to be elevated now), but it is still elevated, so I have to have ANOTHER blood draw. 3 elevated WBC counts in 3 weeks... Can CD give you elevated WBC count?

For people with Crohn's  common Laboratory findings:
    1. Anemia
    2. Vitamin B12 Deficiency
    3. Elevated white blood cell count
    4. Low albumin (protein) because the body is not absorbing nutrients properly
    5. Elevated sedimentation rate

The answer to your question is yes. :-) Take care and keep posting.
