I had my 3rd loding dose of Remicade on January 16th.  All last week I was exhausted.  Like going to bed at 8pm exhausted.  Last Thursday I started with blood on the tp again, and over the weekend I had loose stools again.  This morning I'm nauseous and I've been in and out of the bathroom with more loose stools.
I had some stress at the end of last week- my mom had surgery and she had a bad reaction to the anesthesia- so at first I thought that was what caused it.  But I was bleeding within 2-3 hours of hearing about Mom.  That seems awfully fast, doesn't it?  I could see the D starting up that quickly, but wouldn't bleeding need more time to develop?  And by Friday afternoon she was fine, so that stress was removed.  But I keep getting worse.  For those who are on Remicade, are these kind of "break through" symptoms usual?  Does this mean I already need another round?  I'm not scheduled again until March 14th.  I've got a call in to my GI, but I'd like to know what others who've been on this stuff think.

Hang in there.

I've been on Remicade for 5+ years now and it's working well, however I will occasionally have bleeding and d.

As you know, stress is a big trigger, and even with my Remi, I still have issues from time to time.

It's a good idea to talk to your GI and let them know what is going on.

As for the exhaustion, what other medications are you on along with the Remicade? My GI put me on 100mg of 6mp along with it, and it made me tired all the time. After a few months of that, I got him to cut it back to 50mg and the exhaustion cleared up.
