Just wondering how this compares to other surgeries. is 63 cm alot? I do not have a ostomy but I do still have a urine catheter in for ten days now.

Everytime they try to remove the catheter my bladder / prostate spasam and I hit the floor like a ton of bricks! Ive had it removed 3 times and had to have it replaced. I go to the urologist tomorrow to see whats up with that. skull
My stools appear oily and loose, is this going to be the norm for me? I wonder how long it will be before this crap flares back up again.

I am almost five wks out from my bowel resection,  I had about 45 cm taken out.  This is the first week that I am having somewhat formed stools. Since surgery I have had diarrhea and last week they were greasy but I haven't noticed that this week.  I think my body is finally adjusting to its new plumbing.  Sorry I don't have any advice on the catheter situation, mine was removed the day after surgery and i was able to urinate within a few hours without difficulty.
