I press down on my stomach and it is tender, kind of hurts a little. If it is a blockage, how should it feel to me? If it is a abcess/fitula, how would that feel?

I dont know if I got food poisoned or not, but a couple nights ago, I ate grodey calamari, hours later, I threw up and had intense pain, woke up next morning okay. (no diarrhea tho)

Now I press down on my stomach and it hurts a little on the left side. A little diarrhea/flakey, what can this be? I dont feel a hard sausage like mass, but may feel a little if i press hard enough, but that may just be in my mind cuz it reallyisn't pronounced. help thanks

Could be just from being sick, where it will go away in a couple more days.  Whenever I am having a flare, my stomach hurts to press on in the lower left corner (from my perspective looking down at my stomach) and for some odd reason my stomach is always sore to press on anywhere near my ribcage, but plenty of imaging tests have shown that nothing is wrong up there, it just hurts for no reason.  My doctor said it didn't feel like there were any blockages, so apparently you should be able to feel that if it were the case, and he sent me in for the imaging tests to check for strictures and ulcers, which I had neither of and you can apparently only detect with imaging.

I hope your stomach hurts less soon and that it's just temporary from the bad food making you sick.  If your stomach doesn't hurt less, it sounds like you haven't really had that before so you should tell your doctor about it and maybe have some tests done to make sure everything's alright.

I agree your tender stomach could be from the wretching with being sick. If you have a blockage you will have more pain then a tender stomach.  Just my 2 cents today :)
If it becomes worse or other symptoms develop, check with your physician.

Take care
