48 y/o woman.  Diagnosed 4/06 after colonscopy, SBFT, CT-scan all showed crohns. 3 months later, after pred and remicade, all tests showed no crohns. December '06 had adhesions cut through a laparoscopy. Now taking Glycolax, Ultra Fiber Plus, Florastor, and DHEA. Have become gluten-free diet per naturopath's tests.

Hi AL19...unfortunately, I've also never heard of this prep. I've found that one of the best on-line resource centers for just about anything, is The Mayo Clinic (the 2nd best is medical research/info from the UK (United Kingdom). I had trouble finding any info regarding a topical chemotherapy that I would be having at Mass. Eye & Ear...lo & behold...the UK had lots of info on, not only this drug but the rare cancer, itself (even MEEI didn't have printed info on this). Just a suggestion (personally, all the preps make me really sick...that's one upside to an ileostomy...next colonoscopy, no 'oral' prep...yeah!!!). I hope that this unheard of prep is something new & more palatable. Let us know how it goes...cheers! tongue

I did do some research it sounded very intersting, none of them are easy to take, the Dr from Mayo Clinic is the one who ordered it. I'll let you know how it goes. I go to mayo on the 17th of march.
