redface  Hi I would like to start again and introduce myself as I sort of started on the end of another thread and I realise this was a mistake! My apologies.(was nervous)
I am 51yrs old female living in Australia, born in Zimbabwe. I have had CD for about 18yrs now and in the last few years I seem to only be in remission for about two months at a time before having to go through a flare up. As I get older my FU's seem to get worse and I usually have to go to hosp. to get IV meds. This is a huge hassle in day to day life.Too much time taken up with sick leave. Have had the usual colonoscopies and been told I have strictures here and there. Bowel operation looming I think.
This is the first time I am actually talking to other fellow sufferers and it feels good. Friends and family are great but they cannot really understand the fears and frustrations we go through.
Regards Bio.

Welcome Bio!

This website has been a great source of help and comfort for me.  It is helpful to know you are not alone with all of this stuff!

Keep us updated on how it goes and if you do end up having surgery soon.

Take care,

Indigo

So glad you decided to give it another try. I missed you the 1st time. Bless your heart, hang in there. I had surgery a little over a year ago and it wasn't nearly as bad as I had feared. I'm back to my old self again.
