my 14 month old baby has had very loose stools for the last three months. The docs I have taken him to all seem to be very confused as to what was causing it, but the last few tests have shown microscopic amounts of blood in the stool. The pediatrician has suggested that it might be crohn's disease. Does anyone have any experience with a baby with crohn's? i thought that he would show discomfort if he had it, but he is active and happy, and if it weren't for the stool, he would appear fine. I am very concerned about him, i know nothing about crohn's - can anyone give me advice please? He has had blood tests done and they didn't indicate anything.
Please help.

Hi Ally and welcome to the forum. So sorry your little one is having issues. Please read the thread right now entitled "Help! Can a 12 month old have Crohn's?" Someone posted there a website for parents of young children with Crohn's. I believe it's http://www.dragonpack.com/ibdsupport/parents/.

I hope you get answers soon! I am glad he is otherwise happy and active!!! :-)

I'll pray for your little one. I hate the thought of any child having crohns. My eldest 29 year old daughter is beginning to have some stomach issues and I worry it could be CD. She's no baby, but my child just the same.
