I'm afraid to tell my doctor. I'll tell her, and next thing I know I'll be getting a three foot scope shoved down my throat. I've noticed a correlation with me stopping my medication and my stomach and lower-right abdomen hurting. I'm pretty sure the stomach correlates with the Crohn's. I've been really anemic for some time now, and right now my hemoglobin is low but my iron isn't. I threw up once and it looked like blood, and I hadn't eaten anything that day that even appeared red in the slightest. I'm worried my stomach has ulcers and is inflamed. Could there be any other correlation with Crohn's besides the disease actually extending to it? My medication is Pentasa btw, so it wouldn't stop ulcers in the stomach directly, but perhaps reducing inflammation elsewhere in the body reduces the immune system response all over.

Many of us with Crohns also suffer with GERD. I take Prilosec for it. I would suggest you being honest with your doc and see whats going on. The upper endoscopy is a very easy test to do. Nothing after midnight is the only prep and you are sedated like the colonoscopy so don't know whats going on.
Been living with Crohn's Disease for 32 years.  Currently on Asacol, Prilosec 60 mg, Estrace, Prinivil, Diltiazem, Percoset prn for pain and Calcium.  Resections in 2002 and 2005.  Recently diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and doing tests to see if I have Inflammatory Arthritis or AS.

I understand your fear but it is more important to tell your Dr. the truth about your health so he/she can make the determination if something is seriously wrong.  Be brave, you can do this.

crohn's can affect anywhere from the mouth to the anus. I mostly have it in my terminal ileum too, but sometimes I get it in my mouth, duodenum, rectum. It's pretty common.

My CD is in my TI also and my stomach hurt every day. I did not want to wear jeans or not even elastic due to the pressure. Then I went on Entocort and the pain went away. I'm due to go off the Entocort soon, so I hope the pain does not come back. I wish I would have gone to my r long before I ended up back in the ER. Kay
