Hi, I have UC supposedly not CD, but I thought I would post this here and see if you all have had this feeling and what you think it is.... The other day I felt like I needed to burp all day long, my throat felt blocked as though there was a pill stuck in there.  I hadn't taken any pills that day.  I took some Tums eventually after feeling annoyed by the sensation for several hours, the Tums did not help at all.  I drank 2 cans of Sprite, no help.  I burped, no help.  I went to bed and when I got up the next morning it was gone.  I didn't have any burning in my throat or reflux or heartburn feelings while having that weird feeling in my throat.  confused

Not sure if this is the same, but I had what felt like a pressure in the back of my throat. Dr. said it was acid reflux, which I did not believe, as I'd been on stuff for that in the past and this pressure felt nothing like the symptoms I had experienced before (the burning, stuff coming back up, etc.). So, he put me back on Protonix and the pressure went away.
