A couple weeks ago I accidentally wet myself for the first time since I learned to use the toilet as a child.  Not like I soaked my clothes or anything, just leaked maybe 1/4 cup of liquid when I sneezed.  I thought "duh, urinary tract infection" since I also felt like I had to pee every 2 minutes.  I did not have a urinary tract infection on the quick test or in the extended test where they let your sample grow stuff in the lab.

I didn't have the constant urge to pee or have any more accidents for a few days and then it did it again, only without sneezing.  Then again a couple days later, from a sneeze again.  I only have accidents on days where I suddenly feel like I need to pee every few minutes, and days where I have this problem seem to just happen randomly with no problems for days before and days after.  Can this be related to crohn's at all?  Does anyone else have this problem?

(No I am not pregnant, have never been pregnant, and have literally 0% chance of being pregnant.  I wish it were something that simple messing up my bladder.)

I had been having a similar problem recently. Its possibly Interstial Cystitis causing irratation & a hyperactive bladder. MAYBE.. But let a doctor check it out first!

Glad it's not just me, but feel bad that other people are having it too.  Should I have the GI doctor check it out or should the general doctor be ok?  I saw the general doctor for it so far since I thought it was an infection.  I hope it's not that interstitial cystitis thing, I certainly don't want any cameras there next :P

Whoever I end up seeing, whatever they say I will also let you guys know.

Boy this sounds familiar. I did have to take meds for awhile for an overactive bladder when my inflammation levels were high. (At least I know that now). This was the first symptom I displayed years ago along with intermitant torso shooting pain that I thought was coming from my bladder. Went through every test the urologist had to offer and the best he came up with was microscopic amounts of blood in my urine, not even enough to culture. He probably created that himself with the darn catheters! Hence, hindsight 20/20, it was the CD beginning to rare it's ugly head and announce it would be with me the rest of my life! After my resection he told me that was the best my urine had ever looked. I still recommend the urologist over a GP for this problem though. Even emptying my wallet so he could drive around with tags that read, "Gee Whizzzz", he did cure that part of it for me!
Dx'd Jan'06, 1st Resection 7/06, Predinsone, Humira, Imuran, B12 injections, Nexium. Secondary conditions: Psorasis, Acne, Fatigue, Joint Pain, Lactose Intolerant, gallstones, fibroid cysts, peri-menopausal.

Yeah, I'm on Detrol now. Though I still suspect Prostate issues given my age & history. However, this med does work & since I'm not fond of a certain (cough) medical exam, I'll be sticking to it! LOL
