Hi everybody. Tried to say hello earlier and got cut off. I had resection surgery 24yrs ago. I've not had any problems until that past 6 mos. Back then things were diff and Ive never been on any meds. I am now taking pentasa and entocort. all these years I thought I was just a hypochondriac. You all have been a great relief for me. Anyways, i am schedule for a colonoscopy and probable balloon dilation on April 10th. I may even need surgery again. I am in alot of pain above my bellybutton and my back and my right hip. I am feeling positive though. Your posts have really been a blessing. Stay strong

Welcome to Healing Well, Texasmom! I'm glad you found us. That was a really long remission you enjoyed after your surgery. One of our moderators had a 20 something year remission after her surgery. She too had her s you ymptoms return. I'm sorry that you are having trouble. I have a lot of arthritis associated with my CD. At this point my arthritic problems are worse than my CD. Please let us know what the GI says after your colonoscopy.
