How do we know when we are suffering with tonsillitis, or CD in the throat. The ulcers are large & are now covering both tonsils.

I do have a fever, but that's not unusual for me. I am currently on Humira & entocort. What do you think?

Yup, sounds like strep that is something you don't want to put off treatment for.  If they rule that out then we can make suggestions to help deal with the ulcers.

White patches are typical for Strep. Let us know about the results of the rapid strep test.

Thanks guys, you may be right. However, when I called the doctor, I gave my symptoms and I just got a message from
her nurse, saying given my history, she has sent a prescription for Dr. Poppavich"s solution. This is a swish, swirl & swallow
medicine that they use when my mouth flares with CD, it has antibiotic, steroid & painkiller in it. So I guess I'll give that a
chance to work, but I have to say, this does feel more like tonsillitis than crohns. I'll give it till Monday.....

If it has and antibiotic in it it will treat strep or most forms of tonsilitis as well as chrons so that is probably a good place to start.
