I am doing the golytly prep this this time & it says that you should have strong bowel action 1 hour after starting the prep. I did the magnesium citrate & then started the golytly 3 hours later, and it's been 6 hours since I started with the magnesium citrate. I have had only a couple small piece of stool, no D. No strong bowel action.

I don't know if it's the IBD, I have that lump, I think it's all stuck. I did have 7 BMs though earlier today before starting the prep, so I thought I was kinda already cleaned out.

Am I doing something wrong? I have been chasing the golytly with propel, is that wrong? Why haven't I had D yet?
Live for today, for tomorrow you might just get hit by a semi.

Just be careful with propel because it has fake sugar in it and you might get cramps!
26 Year old married female law student.  Diagnosed w/ CD 3 years ago, IBS for over 10 years before that, which was probably the CD.  I am sort of lactose intollerant too but can handle anything cultured and do well w/ lactose pills and lactaid.  For crohns I am currently on Pentasa 4 pills/4x day and hysociamine prn.  I also have bad acid reflux and have been on PPI's since age 13.  I have been through prilosec, prevacid, and nexium.  Currently I am on Protonix in the morning and Zantac at night.  I alos take a birth control pill to allow some fun in my life.

No, it doesn't. It has sucrose syrup. (not that that's good for you either, but no splenda ar aspartame...)

Cool - I used to drink it but had to stop because of the Splenda. They must have more than one version.
