Like most crohnies I tend to graze on pretty bland food.  I love the wheat pretzel sticks and like the Snyders thin ones even better.  They say they have sesame seeds but you can't even see them.  I think it is just sesame flavor.  Anyway, while procrastinating I whipped up a yummy pretzel dip I wanted to share.
In a shot glass squeeze about half yellow mustard, a quarter miracle whip (or I guess mayo) a squirt of honey and a pinch of garlic salt and parsley.  Stir.  Dip.  Yum.
26 Year old married female law student.  Diagnosed w/ CD 3 years ago, IBS for over 10 years before that, which was probably the CD.  I am sort of lactose intollerant too but can handle anything cultured and do well w/ lactose pills and lactaid.  For crohns I am currently on Pentasa 4 pills/4x day and hysociamine prn.  I also have bad acid reflux and have been on PPI's since age 13.  I have been through prilosec, prevacid, and nexium.  Currently I am on Protonix in the morning and Zantac at night.  I alos take a birth control pill to allow some fun in my life.

Yum, I will definitely try this! Does anyone else feel they have to avoid garlic, not so much garlic salt but fresh garlic in dips etc? I have stayed away from fresh garlic for a few years now and I am too nervous to try it again since my surgery. So to go off topic, it just made me think of the garlic question after reading fitzy's recipe! Thanks for sharing!
