You might like to watch the current repeats of All Saints (Ch 7, 2 pm) if you have a chance. There's a Crohn's patient on the "ward": two resections, facing the prospect of a colostomy, trying to study for his HSC exams. I wouldn't say that the show's treatment is too tasteful - the ward clerk is referring to him as "colostomy boy" - but we might get a few insights by watching.

Ivy... recovering from anaesthetic and watching too much tv!! :-)
