I thought I was pretty up to snuff with anatomy but I have a question for you ladies. Where is a womans ,Yet...??? I know , your thinking that you dont have a ,Yet, but you must. I know because there is an artical in the news paper that says,,,A woman was shot this morning ,and the bullet is in her yet.
Ok so I should have asked you on April. first ......

I'm very naive so forgive me, but I just can't imagine what you're trying to tell us, just SAY IT. Then I'll try and tell you where it is! :P

Sniper, that is funny. Don't we love the way they write headlines.

Yes, I did get it - Yet.

The bullet is still in her...it has not been removed (as of yet --had to say it). The way it was written suggest that "yet" is a body area/part. Sniper is poking fun at a poorly written article.

stef, this is a bit of a misplaced modifier. the headline should have read something like, "a woman was shot in the back this morning, and the bullet is still there." unfortunately we see more and more of this kind of copy in once respected publications.

Similar topic - drives me crazy when people speak and put themselves first in the sentence - i.e. me and joe when to the store. I am trying to teach my daughter and then I see this happening on my soap. Don't you think professional writers should always use proper grammer. And we wonder "Why does Johnny not read", why should he when everyone around him speaks poorly.
