Well totally over my local doctor he has done nothing of what my Gastro specialist has asked him, so I've made and appointment to see a doc out of town about 40mins from where I live but hopefully he can talk and work with my gastro specialist and help me though all this.

But Good news
Last Thusday's bloods showed I was 6-7 weeks pregnant so that was great.
even better though I went to hospital for my check up with early pregnancy docs who did an ultra sound although they had trouble finding my uterus from the mass of bowel loops when they did all looked fine so far and they even saw the heart beat yeah I say they meaning hubby and the doc cause I was chickin not wanting to look.

Still got the D's on and off think I had a touch of food poisoning few days ago though we all were crook with D's

starting aspirin today to control my Lupus anti-coagulant doc warned it may start the D's again and to watch my food intake.

Fingers crossed my bump will continue growing just fine. :-)

Congratulations on your bump. Babies are such a blessing. I will pray that you and the baby have a healthy uneventful pregnancy.

Yay! Christiny, I was just thinking about you today and wondering how things were going. I'm so glad to hear things are well with baby! Thanks for the update :) Blessings to you and your family!
30 year old wifey and mom to 3 little girls, 2 dogs, and 2 ratties and working full-time outside of the home...nap anyone?
Suffered with symptoms for 12 years, dx Crohn's-Colitis 11/2007.  Taking Asacol, Omeprazol, Rowasa, Bentyl. Flaring off and on and trying to avoid steriods.  I've started a regimen of supplements from my naturopath to see how that helps: RF Plus (rebuilds GI mucosa), Similase (digestive enzyme), Cortine (supports adrenal function), Pregnenalone (hormone, helps memory and energy), and Vitamin B injections.

Congrats on the babe...I'd be super cautious with the asprin and any other asa products (advil and such) because they can promote bleeding of the bowels.

:)
My bum is broken....there's a big crack down the middle of it!  LOL  :)

Congrats on the upcoming baby! But as PB4 said, please be very careful with the aspirin. NSAIDS are a big no no for us Crohnies.
Been living with Crohn's Disease for 32 years.  Currently on Asacol, Prilosec 60 mg, Estrace, Prinivil, Diltiazem, Percoset prn for pain and Calcium.  Resections in 2002 and 2005.  Recently diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and doing tests to see if I have Inflammatory Arthritis or AS.

I love good news!  Congratulations!  One of my babies is moving out tomorrow, but she is twenty so I guess its time, and I'm sending the check for college and dorm for the other today.  But I would love to go back and be where you are and do it all over again!  Enjoy every minute, it goes really fast.  Like the blink of an eye.
