So today I started the SCD and have had the worst D in my life. It is so painful. Watery stools all day long.

What can I use to bulk up my stool? Are antidireaheal okay. Im assuming the huge change from loose stool to watery stool is because I have removed fiber from my diet except for cooked fruits and veggies which are still hard on me. Should I stick with 100% steak and chicken? and leave the fruits and veggies out until I heal?

What to do?!?!?

I am far from any sort of knowledge bank about the SCD as I didn't have the stamina to stay more than a couple days. But there are a few on here who will have info for you. There is also a yahoo group for the diet.

I think there is something about change in stool for the first few days as the body adjusts. Hang in there and hopefully someone will come along with real info for you!

it could be a detox where you have to tough it out for a few days as your body adjusts to eating this way. so you may have to tough this out and see what happens...
