YIKES!  Hubby just reported back from a primary care doc appointment:  doc thinks maybe bladder infection (won't find out for sure for a few days, aaaackkk) or prostate infection (prostate a bit enlarged doc says) going on; has put him on 10 days of cipro...

Supposed to have 3rd (induction phase still) remicade on Thursday :-(

Will they absolutely not do it if any signs of infection?  This would be the second week that it has to be posponed...he was supposed to have it last Tuesday.

What might this mean regarding the induction phase?

He's really having a very hard time of right now; lots of pain, stomach discomfort.  We were really looking for this infusion this week.

He is on: entocort, 9mg; pentassa 9 pills; xifaxin 6 pills; oxycodone 6 pills; now cipro....

SIGH.  He just can't get a break.  Can't even reach the remicade coordinator till tomorrow...

Learning can only happen when a child is interested.  If he's not interested, it's like throwing marshmallows at his head and calling it eating.  Make him interested!

Poor guy!! I really feel for him! If the remi folks say it needs to be postponed, then they are dong it for a real reason. You don't want to get in the way of his body's efforts to beat the infection or it could linger. Yuk!!!

Let us know what happens!!
