I know we have had this story before, but man, I swear every spring time, I get so bad. Body aches, "spring fevers" the
whole 9 yards. I wonder if it's the change of pressure, the slight change of diet, or just getting p***** because I cant get
out in the weather!! Even my kidneys are starting to be a nuisance. Yuk!!!

Don't you just love it. We wait all winter to get out, them bam, the energy is zapped out of you. Joints you didn't even know you
had ache!! My problem lately is severe bloating. At least in winter an old long sweater would cover you up, But I so want to wear
light weight stuff. I went out and bought cotton shirts this year, they are so comfy and still covers the big tum. Unfortunately they
don't take the pain away!!!!!

Okay, so I read the post about this a couple months back, or whenever it was, and I really didn't understand why everyone said Crohn's flares in the spring.  I was desperately waiting for spring, since the winter makes the arthritis horrible.  When it first started getting warmer I really started feeling better and then, all of a sudden, two weeks ago, the joint pain was back and I have been in the most pain that I've been in since I started the clinical trial over a year ago!  The stomach is mad, the joints are mad.  This has been a rough two weeks!  Luckily, I get Cimzia shots again today and see my GI tomorrow...someone has to do something!  So, I think I'm beginning to understand the spring flare everyone talked about.  Maybe the rain and the crazy temps going back and forth??

Well, I'll be darn. Its' the first time I hear about this Spring Fling thing.... but it all makes sense. I was telling my daughters that I don't know what is the matter with me lately. I usally manage o.k. but in the last few weeks I have had extreme fatigue, terrible joint pain...I can barely walk , wich is difficut for me at the best of times . I feel nauseaous.... my poop has gotten to be very very interesting. All in one day, I am having, pencil thin ones, green ones, loose ones, little round nuggets, and monsters I almost have to go in and dig out (sorry )...I have to push so hard I almost pass out and I swear I'll end up having a stroke on the loo. Then ten minutes later, I barely get my buns on the toilet in time .
I do get migraines a lot more this time of year with the changes in barometric pressure especially out here on the west coast...but it is interesting to think that it may be affecting the rest of my body as well.
ps. I slept all day today....just couldn't get it together....was too sore and exhausted from I don't know what. Hope this ends soon.

Very well put....something in this.  I know that they say the fall and spring bring on more cases of CD.  I started last year in the spring got better in the summer and then fall came and bang I was sick.  Found out that I had a stricture and a loop.  Had the surgery done in February this year to repair it.  Best of all I have dealt with pain consistant with CD since then.  So now they are looking at it and saying that it might be CD due to my AS and Uveitis acting up.  Or that the AS and Uveitis being the beginning of another Crohn's flare.  I have been told by my Rhume that some of his patients have it within three months of a AS flare up.

Oh isn't Crohn's a wonderful disorder to have.  :)
