For those of us who have battled this very challenging disease while being a mom.  Hats off to all of you (me too!).

So many times, in the middle of feeling so bad, my kids were what would keep me going.  So, I feel inspirational and would like to share some thoughts with everyone.

So much of our lives are spent running here and there.  It almost seems that if we get a moment of time without something particular to do, it is awkward.  This is true with CD too.  We all get so focused on just living that we actually miss out on living.  As mother's we  have the greatest privelege but also the greatest responsiblity and challenge.  We must find a way to stop and smell the coffee - in a flare or out!  There is no greater moment in life than when we stop long enough to really see what an enormous impact (and I do mean positive impact) we ar having on the lives of those around us~ especially in the little things.  We are a billboard for the world to read.  What will they see?

Every Mother's Day I find myself, once again, pausing for a momet to reflect on the past year.  I smile over the victories and make new commitments to overcome those things that didn't go so well.  God has a wonderful life in store for us.  Let's do our part to live it good every step of the way!

Love and healing to everyone.  tongue

Best job I have ever had and will ever have is being a mom. Would trade it for all the money in the world. Two wonderful teenagers who know how to live with some with a crohnic disease and be patient and kind. I'm thankful for this job and cherish every moment.

Well said. I'm thankful and feel so blessed to have had children....and the best reward and joy in the world is watching my daughter with her own baby daughter who is now 5 months old. The baby is such a happy baby, always smiling, laughing and talking up a storm. I tell my daughter what a wonderful job she is doing and she says..."I learned from the best" . That is when my heart swells with pride.
Happy Mothers day
