Asacol didn't have much effect on me, other than continual D.

I'm not familiar with lupus syndrome, but I do have fatigue in the 12-24 hours after I get a humira injection. After that I feel back to normal, aside from my regular level of fatigue, which I think is just part of the Crohns.
Dx Mild Proctitis 7/06 at age 33, Dx Severe Pan Colitis 5/07, Dx Crohn's Colitis 10/07
Failed Asacol, Lialda, 6-MP, Canasa, Rowasa, Entocort, and Remicade
On Humira since 1/08 with promising results, but can't get below 5mg Prednisone
Take Tylenol #3 as needed when not in close proximity to a bathroom.
Currently on 40mg Prednisone again since mid-March flare, ack
4/9/08 Humira dose increased to 40mg/week, Start slow Pred taper

I'm on both, new after being on Remicade for 5 years. I do have alot of fatigue. I think my Humira dose needs to be adjusted, but we are a month with Cobra and I'm waiting till June to see my doctor. Hopefully I can wait. Being on both, I'm not sure if the Asacol or Humira are the problem causing the fatigue. I take 40mg Humira every 2 weeks and 4 asacol twice daily.. What are you on?

I was on Asacol for 4 years and it kept me in remission the whole time... I didn't experience much fatigue until this flare up... I think IBD itself is to blame for any type of fatigue.
