hi all. i'm finally getting around to giving vsl 3 a chance. i got a 2 month supply. gonna use the capsules as i dont want to mix anything and deal with the hassle (i'm just so used to taking pills). but my question is to those of you who've taken it before is - just what to do with the "ice packs" they ship it in. it says "dont apply to body". but can i use these in a cooler? my food is wrapped up in stuff so of course it wont be coming in direct contact. it does say it is reusable, water soluble, and non-toxic (that part was nice to know). it seems ok to me. just wondering of your opinions or if you know something i dont. the "dont apply to body" thing has me vexed....

We kept the freezer packs too. Should be safe but I think I might put them in a plastic bag when I use them, in case they leak.

I just started VSL#3 capsules too. How many are you going to take a day? Right now I just take 2 in the AM. The capsules are pretty big, sometimes I find they stick...so be sure to take them with enough water.
