Karendee---how did you do getting the barium down for your small bowel series? I think yours was today. Mine was yesterday.

2 750ml cups of thin but gross barium. Still tastes the same as it did 10 years ago. YUCK. I was so surprised that he had me drink while he did the upper gi. I guess the test has gotten a lot more efficient.

I wore sweat pants with no metal or snaps so I was able to keep them on. Johnny coat and nice fluffy warm robe.

I finished the test at 10 and the barium was knocking on the back door at 10:45. Barely made it to the toilet. Then pooped it out all night. Finally getting back to real D. Never thought I'd say that.

So the test went fast for me and my small intestine is in good shape. That's a relief--- I guess the colonscopy will tell me why I am so weak and losing so much weight--crohn's must be crazy in my large intestine. I can't wait to find out what's wrong. I am so tired of feeling like I'm going to pass out.

Sammies....hope you are feeling better and stronger really soon. Are you drinking a lot . Dehydration, especially after a particularly lengthy bout of D. I suck on ice cubes all day. I hate water so I always fill my glass with ice cubes first. Boost even tastes better with ice cubes.
Keeping you in my prayers for speedy results and better health.
