snohare, when you see this i hope it is ok that i share with everyone. a couple of weeks is a bit longer than most here will be able to remain in the dark and worried about your well being. please forgive me for speaking in your stead.

sno is ok, everybody (i guess that's open to interpretation and debate). he HAS been having computer problems and getting med problems squared away. he will be dogsitting for his folks in a couple weeks, and is hoping to catch up with everyone then, when he has access to their computer. also, i'm not aware of the vp taking a rabbit hunting trip to scotland in the near future, so i think he's safe in that respect.

Thanks VV. I was wondering. As for the VP I think any thing he is shooting at is pretty much safe, its what he is not shooting at thats in trouble.

Jo, re Sniper's comment, spot the person who isn't Aussie, eh? :-)

Sniper, it's a disease that was introduced into the rabbit population here to eradicate them, or at least reduce the population.

It's lovely to see you, Jo! I owe you a letter and *will* reply soon - I have been having multi medication problems that have left me with no energy :-( and now I am behind with everything.

VV, thanks for letting us know how Sno is. Will you send him our good wishes when you next have contact with him?

Now wait a minute,,,now I'm a disease ?? Bad enough having a disease but now I am one ? Makes me feel down under. Well at least I'm helping with the jackrabbit population. I will never hear the end of this from VV. Please tell me there is something called, Viral Vantage,(VV), you guys have over there to get rid of feral hogs..

eyes well, at least you didn't pick viscous vomit! i believe that is one of the possible side effects if a human were to accidentally ingest some viral vantage.

how 'bout.........

sniper, a disease that presents as a mixture of misplaced modifiers, incorrect spelling, and an irresistible urge to punificate (he's a 'publican), introduced to the general population to eradicate ................feral hogs?

hey, gals, i don't remember no jackrabbits when i was there! 'course that was 40 years ago! i remember a lot of other strange animals that i've never seen before. come to think of it, do you have any jackelopes there?

i sure wish i could come back for a visit. when i was there in december of 68, the opera house was just about completed in Sydney harbor. king's cross was the place to be. the mini skirts were the miniest i'd ever seen, and the girls in them second to none! then there's bondi beach...........

i remember a couple of girls took us to a national park just outside the city, that you took a pilotless train to. jo and ivy do you know what park that would be. they had canoing and wildlife and plantlife there that just astounded me.

also, jo and ivy, even though it was a debacle, i would like to thank your country (maybe you have family that served) for their contribution in vietnam, a fact lost in history and shame in the u.s.

Sniper - lol unless you are a rabbit you will be truly safe from myxomatosis.
Ivy - thanks for the welcome back have more time on my hands now to get back on here, sorry to hear you are having problems, please fill me in soon.

VV - Not much has probably changed here in Sydney from how you described it, of course the opera house is finished lol.
Kings Cross is still the same and Bondi Beach is where the rich and famous reside. Us non locals turn up in droves in summer just to give them a reality check lol.
I believe the National park you described is near where I live and is called the Blue Mountains (the view from Sydney makes the mountains apppear a blue colour, hence the name). It is a beautiful place, with breathtaking views, great camping and rock climbing.
VV I had no family that served in Vietnam (either too young or too old) but I worked in a Club for returned servicemen and heard lots of their stories. We have a day called ANZAC day on the 25th of April were we remember and celebrate the memory of the fallen, this gets bigger every year with each generation contributing and learning more about our brave men and women who fought in all the wars. Our country is like a mini me version of the US and we treated our Viet Vets shamefully for years (im 44 years old so I can only go by what I remember from youth) but that has all changed now and everyone who ever fought in a war is now treated with the honour and respect they deserve. God Bless you VV - and you must get back to Sydney again!
Take care
Jo

Viscid Virus, Vacuous Void, Viral Volley, its all VV to me. I just ride hogs, I dont kill them. By the way those really big Jackrabbits were roos, and the computer controlled ride you took sounds like it went through Jurassic Park. Was there a 7 meter crocodile trying to have you for lunch ?
SydneyJo, I fought with some of your guys from down under. They were all fine men, tough, brave, and they all had a zest for life that I was glad to be a part of. Glad they are getting some respect. They have mine as well.
