Hello everyone. Just noticed that I am now a veteran member. I was actually excited, like I'd accomplished some kind of great thing...when all I've done is come to you for support and encouragement . Veteran....this means I've been complaining for a long time .....and often.
Thank you Peter for creating this "safe place " for us to come to.
Thank all of you for your infinite patience , understanding and support. I really, really don't know what I'd do without you. I'd feel such a great loss if you weren't all here. !
God Bless all of you dear friends.!

Congratulations on your veteran status!!! :)... *Claps hands* We should all have a party!! :)....

Rice ice cream for everyone! Woo!
I think I am being picked on by life, sometimes. But's that okay. Life and I are good buddies... I know life doesn't mean no harm. It just is the way it is. I can accept that.

New veterans are required to undergo the basic initiation ceromonies, plus buy every one a snack food!

Congratulations! Now don't let it go to your head! ;-)

I'm curious about the forum rules for this. I couldn't find guidance about membership categories in the forum rules or FAQs. When do you go from New Member to Regular Member, and regular Member to Veteran Member??

yeah   tongue scool :-) cool yeah tongue    Here's your party Marie....just remember when you thought you were just complaining...there are those out there reading your post and learning from your experiences!  Thank you for all YOU have done!  After all, you become a veteran member because of the number of posts you've had and that racks up a lot of people's lives you have touched! :-)

redface  Matthew-How come she only has to buy everyone snacks and you set me up to buy everyone dinner when I became a "veteran"!?  Seems I remember getting requests for steaks, salads, etc. or maybe everybody was just hungry that night! tongue   Anything sounds better than TPN or Ensure doesn't it!

Thank you everyone. Snacks! Yep! sure seems like you got gipped broom....
Mathew, if you've ever seen the movie Hook, with Robin Williams...there is a scene where the lost boys are having a huge feast only there isn't a morsel of food on the table. It takes "Peter Pan'ie Robin Williams a while to figure out that it is all in the imagination!.
For my party , I'm imagining steaks, salads ( which apparently was a previous request of yours) , pizza, *bacon and mushroom with double cheese, a cold beer or soda, and a plethora of DESSERTS!!!!!. Of course , I would skip the main course and go straight to the desserts. Life is uncertain, you know, eat dessert first!
When I go to heaven , St. Peter will be standing at the gate , waving me over, "hurry up Mary! He'd have apple pie under one arm and pralines ice cream in the other."I've got an entire bakery just for you !
I will spend eternity, "stuffing this tired old face!!! and not having any pain, or gaining an ounce!

Just call me "fat cheeks VETERAN member Mary" Ha~
