I have been battling this condition since I was about 17 years old.  It occured soon after I started taking oral contraceptives.  It has been really embarrassing and has left awful scars on my inner thighs.  It is very hormonal for me, and just found out I am pregnant again.  I have several lesions in my groin and around my anus that are very painful right now.

Anyways, I have been doing some research and have found that it is very common in patients with Crohn's Disease.  I also read that it can lead to fistulas, which I know are also common in Crohn's Disease.

I guess I am just wondering if anyone else suffers from this condition and what they do to help treat it.

I have had internal fissures, but nothing external. How hard for you. I have had fissures in my anus, I thinks it's pretty common although not comfortable. How's your pregancy going? I hope you are feeling well.

The pregnancy is going well so far.  The morning sickness hasn't kicked in yet.  I'm just feeling a little more tired than usual.
