hI EVERYONE IV BEEN ON ANTIBIOTICS 4 1WEEK AND FELT GRATE THEN STOPED AND MY FISTULA IS BAD AGAIN AND FEEL CRAP,ANYWAY I WANT TO GET MORE DO YOU THINK IT IS BAD FOR ME TO BE ON THEM LONG TERM EVEN IF THEY MAKE THINGS EASYIER FOR ME DAY TO DAY ,AND WHAT AFECTS COULD IT HAVE FOR ME... I HAVE SEVEAR CROHNS D. nono

Hello,

I have two peri-rectal fistulas and am on antibiotics long-term. Others on this forum also use them long-term. Antibiotics keep the tissue around fistulas from getting infected. Some reduce intestinal inflammation.

Which one are you taking? Where is your fistula??

I am also on antibiotics long term and I am okay ...........

I am sure there are many more as well on them ........

i am currentley taken flagel,and my fistular is on my bottom but i think its tunneled through my vaginal wall its not really bad there but on my bot exspecially after bm it stings so much,had surg for it 2yrs ago but no gettn rid off them i am on pred and imuran and mezal and that dosent help the bot they have minds of there own dont they.
