Well he had to see the cardiologist today, checking to see if his heart is strong enough. He felt that he will do well,
but to be on the safe side, he has to have a chemical stress test done on Monday. If that result is ok, his surgery
will be sometime that same week.
He will be put onto a by-pass machine, but the doc thinks he will probably only be on a ventilator for about 1 1/2 days.
The only bad news he got, was, he won't be able to go back to work for at least 2 to 3 months. Not so good...
I will let you know his surgery date, because I know that I'll need you guys even more then.Lol...

Vicky,
You are dealing with quite a lot lately! This would have to add to your tiredness from your other thread. I know I dont deal very well when someone I love is sick, I would rather it be me - its easy to deal with then. Please take care of yourself through your husbands surgery and recovery and keep us posted on how your husband is doing.
My thoughts and prays are with you both
Joanne

Hope the result of that chemical stress test is okay...

It's a great thing they have going with all the technology and knowledge these days... and there's something new discovered every day seems like. It's really good news that the doctor thinks your husband will do well...

And... I don't know you very well... but... You seem like a very nice and supportive wife. :)... Your husband will get through that surgery all right because you're probably an impossible person to leave behind. //^_^\\

*Really sucks about the work thing... Is there any way he can get like.. sick pay or something? I'm young, so I don't know too much about that kind of thing... :(... Hopefully, something will work out...*

Well, it always makes me happy to see supportive, compassionate people (between spouses, it seems even better... gives you those warm, fuzzy feelings. :) )... and when such people are going through tough times, they definitely deserve support and compassion themselves. I can't do much, and... because I don't know you too well and everything, I didn't want to come out as intrusive or anything...

But... I thought it would probably do you good to have a little commendation. :) I'm sure you already know you're a nice, supportive wife, but with your husband going through all of this (and I'm not sure how your disease is effecting you right now, I hope it's not bothering you too badly), it's probably something you don't think about... So... Thought I'd put it in the spotlight for you. :)
