i weaned to 20 mg from 25 mg of pred today and now I'm obstructed. I've tried to wean to 20 mg before but I keep getting obstructions.
I hate this so much. I'm pregnant too. This really sucks.
Any advice?

I would try to wean down by 1mg at time. Instead of jumping from 25 to 20, go to 24, 23, 22, 21, 20. Do it over a period of weeks, maybe one week per mg? What does your doctor say? Because you are pregnant, you definitely don't want to mess around too much. How far along are you?

I would try what Stef suggested a much slower reduction.
I had to go 1mg at a time to go from 5 to 2 - still trying to get off-because even a 2.5 mg drop made me flare-now I am down to two and doing okay.
Congratulations on the baby.

Called my gi, he told me to stay on 25 mg. until I see another GI and surgeon. Hopefully that will be extremely soon since I'm pregnant.

I hate prednisone.
