Just thought I'd share with you guys what my GI told me this past week.

I gave him a list of all the vitamins I've been taking:

Vitamin A
Vitamin D
MultiVitamin
Fish Oil
Calcium, Magnesium & Zinc (all in one pill)
Cranberry pills

I asked him if he thought I needed to be taking anything else.  He said NO, but that I might want to hold off on the Fish Oil and the Magnesium as they both can cause LOOSE STOOL.

Didn't know that!

I've been taking omega 3-6-9 for almost 4 yrs now every single day with NO loose stools.

I don't know about the magnesium, maybe it has something to do with taking them together that could cause loose stools...I don't take magnesium supplements.

If we would read the secret history of our enemies,we would find in each mans life sorrow and suffering enough to disarm all hostility.

LOL, fish poops look solid to me, it's just that they're so tiny.

Yes, doctors often prescribe calcium and magnesium together (and they often come in a combo pill like you have). We need both, and calcium is known to constipate. Magnesium has the opposite effect, thus the combination. Maybe just take half the fish oil and wait to see?
