My doctor told me that this is normal, but it has been going on for several months now. How normal is it? Does it come and go usually? I am not sure what else it could be, but I was only on Prednisone for 3 months (one time), so I doubt it is the AVN(?) or whatever listed in the post below. It was a long time to me, but I am reading that many here have been on it far longer (sorry to hear that).

Thanks

Joint pain is very normal with crohns, but please get xrays, MRI (of the painful joints), ct scans, and a dexa scan (to at least get a base line of bone density) if you feel something is wrong. If you are on remicade you might think about getting a ANA test done.

What is an ANA test? I am not on Remicade, but I'm curious now. Thanks for your response!
