Med Emerg Healthcare Solutions is the nursing agency in Ontario that oversee's the remicade program, and I'm sure, no matter which province your in, they can offer some help or point in the right direction. Call them at 1-877-299-1014. Also, in Canada, there is a government program called " The Trillium Fund" which is very great as it will cover the majority of the drug (no matter what your income, I met a successful lawyer who through the trillium ended up paying only $70.00 per treatment out of his own pockett). I don't have a number for them, but check the blue pages. First major symptoms in '96, horseshoe fistula's and severe abdominal pain with BD shortly after. Diagnosed with Crohn's in 2001. Double fistulectomy in '02. Too many cut, drain and packs to mention.
Began Remecade in late '02, 5 vials every 4 weeks. 500mg Cipro twice daily, and 250mg Flagyl 3 times daily.
