Hi Nicecy22 Welcome to HW . I veto that it can be tiresome at times going to DR's but for me I guess it is a necessary thing. Do you go to your DR.'s often? How is your crohn's doing you were very young to get crohn's at 13. lol gail

I agree with you that it is a pain to see so many doctors. I was diagnosed at 18 and am now 50. I have a therapist, GI, my family doc and a Rheumy on board. I see most of them every few months, so I understand being sick of them. But as gachrons stated they are a necessary evil for us.

Welcome to Healingwell by the way. We look forward to hearing more from you soon.
Been living with Crohn's Disease for 32 years.  Currently on Asacol, Prilosec 60 mg, Estrace, Prinivil, Diltiazem, Percoset prn for pain and Calcium.  Resections in 2002 and 2005.  Recently diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and doing tests to see if I have Inflammatory Arthritis or AS.

Im in your boat as well. I love that you see your primary just to get referred to someone else. I go on vacation in July, get back, have a dermatologist appointment on Monday and a gyno appointment on Tuesday. Any day now I will have a dentist appointment to get my new retainer. I worry about how much work I miss but don't normal people at least see a regular doctor, gyno, dentist, and eye doctor regularly?

I know what you mean! Seems like I see a doctor at least twice a month! Tiresome in the extreme..
BTW, Welcome to HealingWell!

Hi Just thought I'd throw in that one of my problems is I live in a small place and the Dr's come and go so much that it is a struggle to just get a GP and changing and starting over again with a GP is a frustrating thing. If a person doesn't like the care there getting there's not much help in that situation. I am in a no GP situation again ...lol gail
