I understand where you are coming from. I have had 4 Sx since 2-07 the last was in january. My CD kept coming back very fast after Sx I just had my 3rd set of labs done since then.my labe values have dropped with each new blood draw. My CRP is 2 now, in april after being on humira weekly...I had been on hunira biweekly postop after healing from wound infections..again so in april my crp was 11.2. I still have cramping sometimes more than others. I have some days like today when I have D up to 8 times, other days it is loose up to 3 times. I have a 2nd fissure as well. My joints have been aching badly for a cpl days now...my darn asthma has been acting up too. Is it common for CRP sed rate and wbc to be normal but still have other symptoms incl joint pain?
Dx with Crohn's 1987, symptoms as early as 1984.

I certainly don't know if it's common but I do know it's possible for CRP to be normal and still be symptomatic. I haven't been there, but my doctor has talked to me about it. It's hard to say what your next step is not knowing what you've tried. But, I am sure your doctor will work to treat the symptoms. Good luck!

Oh, yeah, it certainly is possible to have a CRP w/in normal reference ranges and still have disease activity going on. Been there, done that. Same w/some of the other bloodwork. The most common "abnormal" lab result I have is low albumin. Doesn't really tell us diddley-squat. My blood work often comes back all w/in normal reference ranges when I'm actually having symptoms.
Some people are like Slinkies... Not really good for anything, but they still bring a smile to your face when you push them down a flight of stairs.

Same here.  My wbc is always elevated though.  What helped me alot is taking wheat out of my diet.   I also started on a strong probiotic called VSL#3 at night and that has made the diarrhea go away.  Like you I am still trying to figure out what to do and it has been an entire year of this rollercoaster ride.  Last night we went to a church fair and I ate zeppoles and a hamburger with the bun.  Today I am suffering for it!!  I have found that for days  like this antispasmodics help alot.

Hoping you will find what works for you soon.

Chris
